Mountain Biking Social Ride (on the road this week)
The trails are all muddy but that’s not going to stop us from getting some riding in. Some good old fashioned dirt road riding (plus some pavement). We’ll do the Long Trussel Road ride (some number of bridges?) that we did last winter – let’s hope it’s just as well attended and about 20 degrees warmer than last time!
This is a longish ride, about 30 miles – I think it usually takes me about 2-2.5 hours on the MTB – so be prepared with water and foods. Mountain bike or ‘cross bike required – the dirt part would be no fun on a road bike.
And of course you will need lights! (Get them charging!) Rear lights too…
Meet at the Central Baptist Church (the side of the parking lot closest to Elmo Weedon) for 6:30 pm rollout Tuesdayevening! 1991 FM 158 Rd, College Station, TX 77845 (Corner of Hwy 30 and Elmo Weedon)
