Vision Zero is a strategy to eliminate all traffic fatalities and severe injuries, while increasing safe, healthy, equitable mobility for all. First implemented in Sweden in the 1990s, Vision Zero has proved successful across Europe — and now it’s gaining momentum in major American cities.
Best of Bicycle Friendly Friday
Event Details: Meet at the Blue Baker on Dominik between 7 and 7:15 am on Friday mornings. We are usually out of there by 9 am, but occasionally lethargy overtakes someone and they stay longer. Many folks leave to be at work at 8 or 8:30 am. No judgment issued if you don’t take your bike up to the event, but extra kudos if you do. The topic for discussion is often bicycling issues and advocacy in the Bryan/College Station area.
What have we got here? A bunch of photos. You can decide what’s the best of. This is everything I’ve got. Once again, if anyone wants to help me with names email jmlinhart ‘at’ gmail ‘dot’ com.
I think this first one is, indeed, one of our best.

I love Xtra-cycles!
Another great one. Rob brings out the bicycle-car.

The Bicycle Car + the rest of us on June 29, 2013. (Rebecca, Carolyn, Kim, Susie, Young Lightfoot, Jared, Rob, Unknown)
Some times we have more people, sometimes fewer.
But even days with a small turnout sometimes lead to fun moments.
